Most people are affected by the severe and persistent mental illness known as bipolar. Aggression and depressive symptoms are all part of bipolar. The patient's behavior changes as a result of bipolar episodes. The disorder alters the patient's mood, general attitude, and the way the patient reasons. People who are around the patient may notice these sudden changes. Most people with bipolar disorder are over the age of 25. Teenagers are also affected but to a lesser extent. Looking into a case study will explain in detail the best and safest ways to treat the disorder, the results of the treatment, and how the patient should be cared for by their loved ones and caregivers. Risperdal 1 mg orally BID is the best treatment option I can choose for a patient with bipolar disorder. The patient will receive two oral doses of 2 milligrams of Risperdal from me each day. Because it is an efficient short-term medication that treats persistent bipolar aggression, Risperdal is the most significant and effective medication recommended for treating bipolar disorder (Chen et al.).2015).
