Your Graduate Development Strategy (GDS) represents a clear but flexible plan. Further, it defines your professional development goals and guides your professional future direction. In simple terms, you will draw on your learnings from this unit. Also, the skills you have developed in your undergraduate studies, in order to create a personal strategy on how to achieve the career goal that you have identified in the unit.
You will integrate Thomlinson’s Graduate Capital (provided )in the reflection of your learned experiences at Monash(this is my uni) and key takeaways from BEX3500. Also, reflect on how you have developed the discipline-specific skills.
Your GDS will have the following important aspects:
Identification of your vision by referring to your Individual Professional Purpose. Also, reflecting on your own strengths and weaknesses that relate to your professional development goals.
Graduate Development Strategy: Thomlinson’s Graduate Capital
A critical reflection of your ‘most significant change’ and how this has impacted your development. As well as the articulation of strategies for continuous improvement based on your experience.
Analysis of both your team and individual performance in the project. Also, the extent to which you have demonstrated learning growth as a result of the experience.
Identification of your end goals. With specific reference the resources you may require in order to overcome predicted challenges and appropriate deadlines that you have set.
