Topic-Choose one type of genetic engineering technology and discuss its implications for biowarfare or bioterrorism.
The primary assignment in this course will consist of one term paper comprising 12-15 pages of text (space and a half, and not including the bibliography).

The term paper must focus on an analysis of one type of threat addressed in the course: either human-based, technologically-based, or climate-based. The paper must posit a central research question and then use data and some form of analysis to attempt to answer that research question. The paper should not merely describe a threat (descriptive papers are appropriate for high school, not graduate school)
